What Happened
A comprehensive overview of the events leading to this recovery initiative
The Alleged Fund Diversion
LUX Property Group entered a joint venture to develop Marina Bay City in Lombok, Indonesia. It is alleged that Adrian James Campbell, CEO of Kinnara, caused unauthorised sales contracts to be issued and millions of dollars in investor funds were diverted to Campbell-controlled entities, rather than to the project development. His associate Hilton Wood is alleged to have facilitated these transactions. While LUX Property Group did receive some of the funds, a significant portion was allegedly diverted and never reached the developer.
Federal Court Judgment
In Campbell v McIntyre (No 2) [2026] FCA 1279, the Federal Court recorded Campbell's criminal history: convicted of fraud (2012), 5 Australian Consumer Law offences (2015), and pleaded guilty to 11 charges of false or misleading representations (2018). Justice Derrington discharged Campbell's injunction and ordered him to pay 80% of McIntyre's costs on an indemnity basis.
NSW Police Fraud Complaint
A formal fraud complaint has been lodged with NSW Police naming Adrian Campbell and Hilton Wood. Event Number: E104942732, delivered to NSW Police Headquarters, 1 Charles Street, Parramatta on 26 August 2026. The matter is currently under review by law enforcement.
Campbell's Counter-Narrative
Campbell is reportedly messaging investors attempting to paint LUX Property Group and Jamie McIntyre as the responsible parties. This recovery portal exists to counter that narrative with documented facts, court records, and a genuine pathway for affected investors to recover their investments.
Important
No fraud has ever been committed by LUX Property Group. It is critical to understand that fraud cannot legally be carved out of a contract — any suggestion to the contrary is legally unfounded and misleading. All allegations against third parties referenced on this website are subject to the presumption of innocence and have not been finally determined by a court.
